By the Ocean…..

I want to rest my head by the ocean, like a sea shell echoing the water

a mermaid being foam on waves, a sea creature flowing in the streams

hearing the gentle rocking, the tide, the swell, the roar

I want to feel the sand forming around my body

in my hair, skin, toes, fingernails

heart beat following the swell, breath following undercurrent

I want to feel the dissolving of my being into greater ocean body

comforting, resting me, restoring me

I want to rest my head, Ocean hear me
